Founded in 2007 by Dan Kosta, Rich Aurilia, and Dave Roberts—two former Major League teammates and a restaurateur with deep roots in wine—Red Stitch embodies the blend of teamwork, precision, and heart that defines both baseball and winemaking. Working alongside acclaimed winemaker Roland Herrera, they craft elegant, small-production wines sourced from meticulously farmed vineyards in Napa Valley and the Santa Lucia Highlands.

Join us Wednesday, March 11, at Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant as we explore five standout releases showcasing Red Stitch’s commitment to balance, character, and sense of place—from expressive Pinot Noir and vibrant Chardonnay to rich, cellar-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon. જ⁀ HOSTED BY RICH AURALIA Rich Aurilia is a former Major League Baseball infielder best known for his 12 seasons with the San Francisco Giants, where he became a fan favorite and a cornerstone of the infield. An All-Star and Silver Slugger Award winner in 2001, he enjoyed a 15-year big league career before retiring in 2009. Today, Rich brings the same focus and teamwork that defined his playing days to the world of wine as a co-founder of Red Stitch, sharing his passion for Napa Valley and hosting tastings that connect guests to both the wines and the stories behind them.
