All Aboard for Rails & Ales! Enjoy complimentary tastings from more than a dozen local craft breweries on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. Ride our vintage diesel train to visit tasting stations located at both ends of the museum grounds. Choose the time of your first departure, then ride between stations as often as you like. Arrive early? There will be plenty of great craft beverages to sample while you wait.

Discover an exciting variety of craft beer styles — from crisp and refreshing to bold and adventurous. Your ticket includes museum admission and a complimentary souvenir tasting glass. Food and additional refreshments will be available for purchase, and free soft drinks are provided for designated drivers. Between tastings, explore New York State’s largest collection of historic trains, tour our exhibits, and see preservation work in action as we bring railroad history back to life.
