-Don’t consume caffeine? No problem! Herbal tea options will be available

-This event is peanut-free, but will include tree nuts

You’ve never been to a high tea like this jawn! Enjoy a pot of tea and snack on Philly-style sweet and savory bites from our kitchen. Your ticket includes all the tea you can drink, an appetizer soup, a tiered tray filled with goodies, a signed copy of your choice of either The Gilded Age or The Gilded Age Christmas cookbooks and a conversation with author Becky Libourel Diamond!

ABOUT BECKY LIBOUREL DIAMOND:

A food writer, librarian and historian, Becky Libourel Diamond has had a varied career combining writing and research. Her latest book, The Gilded Age Christmas Cookbook: Cookies and Treats from America’s Golden Era, launched in September 2025. Each recipe provides a colorful glimpse into the Gilded Age, featuring the history behind each treat, its ingredients and baking methods. Her previous book, The Gilded Age Cookbook, was published by Globe Pequot in August 2023 and transports the reader back in time.
