Who wins the epic debate of Pasta vs. Noodles? Asia and Italy each have their own rich histories of cooking this cultural favorite food. Dario Monni and the Tortello team are joined by James Beard finalist Chef Chris Jung of Maxwells Trading in a night celebrating the differences and similarities of Italy and Korea’s approach to pasta/noodles. Guests will see demos of two Korean noodle/dumpling shapes vs. 2 Italian pasta/ravioli shapes and dine on Dario and Chris’s favorites. The event includes chef demos along with a four course meal including Korean-inspired arancine, two courses of side by side pasta vs. noodle dishes, and a Korean-inspired panna cotta.
