SUMMARY:

Learn the art of naturally colored fresh pasta with our Pasta Making: Color & Herb class. If you loved Pasta Making 101, this is your next class — same hands-on format, but with a stunning, artisan twist.

In this class you will discover the secrets to creating vibrant, homemade pasta using natural ingredients and a manual pasta sheeter. Guests will mix and knead their own naturally colored pasta dough before learning how to sheet and create stunning patterns, marbling, and herb lamination. Approximately 1.5 hours.

STRUCTURE:

1. When you arrive, you will select an Italian Soda or Italian Water (still or sparkling) to enjoy during the class.
2. Once everyone has arrived, each guest will begin by mixing and kneading their own naturally colored dough ball.
3. After the dough is made, it will be set aside to rest for about 15 minutes.
4. During this time, you will enjoy some antipasto provided by Angelo's while we demonstrate how to use a manual pasta sheeter and walk through the herb lamination technique.
5. Once your dough has rested, you will begin sheeting your dough using the manual pasta sheeters provided.
6. From there, we will demonstrate and create several pasta shapes featuring natural color patterns, marbling, and fresh herb lamination.
7. Each guest will yield approximately 12oz of fresh pasta to take home and cook. You will also receive a recipe card with step-by-step instructions so you can recreate what you learned during the class at home.
8. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to shop our store full of Italian provisions to enhance your freshly made pasta. Anything purchased during this time will be 10% off.
