Learn to make fresh pasta with Amy of Matriarch using herbs and edible flowers from Rough Point's kitchen garden. All levels are welcome!

Join Amy of Matriarch Boutique for a fun, delicious and hands on experience, learning to make fresh pasta (and sauce) using herbs and edible flowers from the Rough Point kitchen garden! Taking place in the Rough Point solarium, participants will get to experience Doris Duke's Newport home while learning the ins and outs of pasta making.

Also, if you arrive at 5 pm before the start of class, you'll have access to take a self guided tour around Rough Point before the class starts!

Amy will talk you through dough formation, a mini pasta history, her favorite books and tools for making pasta, and show you how to transform your herb and flower studded dough into various pasta shapes.

In addition to the pasta and sauce which we will make and eat together, the class experience will also include an Italian welcome drink or non-alcoholic beverage, appetizers and dessert.

All levels are welcome- this is very beginner friendly! Just bring your appetite and enthusiasm. This class is however ages 21+ due as we will be serving wine and spirits during the class.

Please contact the event host at amy@overseasoned.com if you have any severe food allergies or other dietaries questions and concerns.
