Owner and creator Adrianna Zizzo wanted to create a product that would pay homage to the Italian restaurant her family owned throughout her childhood by adding her own spin on handed down family recipes. All of her sauces are scratch made in small batches with only the best quality ingredients. They source their tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and Pecorino Romano from Italy and locally source produce and herbs from local farms here in San Diego. Working in Farmer’s Markets, they have the incredible opportunity to work directly with local farmers and producers, ensuring a fresh product, always in season and of the highest quality. By using traditional cooking methods, modern flavors and some Sicilian family secrets, Adrianna strives to create a product that is authentic and delicious, just like Nonna would have made!
Join us for a pasta-filled afternoon tasting some of Adrianna's delightful sauces. We'll pair them with a 24 month aged Parmigiano Reggiano and a Pecorino Romano. You'll also enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. At the end of the event, you'll walk away with a container of your favorite of the 2 cheeses!
