Jean Cate, artist and founder of lovely things (Martha Mae Art Supplies and Beautiful Things, The Center of Order and Experimentation) is joining us for a joyful exploration of the intersections of wine and watercolor painting.

Each guest will receive three wines (non-alcoholic alternative available), along with a tasting wheel. The session will begin with wine tasting guidance from All Together Now, with pointers on how to smell, sip, and identify different families of aromas and flavors. Once we're swirling, sniffing, and sipping comfortably, Jean will guide you through an intuitive watercolor sketching session, encouraging spontaneous and gestural paintings capturing the tasting notes you sense in your glasses. Reference the tasting wheel or paint what feels right to you. There’s no one way to do it!

All necessary materials will be provided for your watercolor session (painting supplies not to be taken home), but feel free to bring your favorite art supplies if you have them. Tickets include the watercolor workshop, wine tasting workshop, and snacks from All Together Now.

This is an introductory class for beginners or seasoned painters. All over 21 are welcome.
