Jason Priestley, one of Canada’s most celebrated actors and directors, brings far more than star power to the table. A lifelong wine enthusiast, Jason has spent years exploring vineyards, developing his palate, and immersing himself in the craft of winemaking. His artistic eye, love of storytelling, and deep appreciation for Canadian hospitality are reflected in every bottle he helps shape. Guests will hear firsthand how his passion for wine has grown alongside his iconic career.
Joining him is Chad Oakes, the super-producer behind the award-winning Nomadic Pictures—one of North America’s most respected production companies. Chad embodies the entrepreneurial, hardworking spirit Canadians are known for. His approach to winemaking mirrors his approach to film: bold, detail-driven, and committed to excellence. As co-founder of Oak & Priest, he channels the same creative energy and relentless vision that have powered his global success in television and film.
Together, these two proud Canadian creators will guide guests through four Oak & Priest wines paired with a bespoke four-course chef-driven menu showcasing the very best of Modern Steak and Alberta’s Benchmark beef.
The dinner features long-table communal seating, curated to create conversation, connection, and a shared appreciation of food, wine, and storytelling. Expect behind-the-scenes insights, personal anecdotes, and an atmosphere that blends Hollywood charm, Canadian pride, and Modern Steak luxury.
