A Culinary Journey Through Pre-Hispanic Flavors
Join us at MeXo for an intimate Chef Dinner celebrating the arrival of spring through the ingredients and traditions that have shaped Mexican cuisine for generations.
Raíces de Primavera explores the flavors of the season using ingredients deeply rooted in Mexico’s culinary heritage. Chef Oscar Moreno presents a multi-course tasting experience inspired by pre-Hispanic cooking, where heirloom corn, ancient grains, wild greens, herbs, and seasonal vegetables come together in thoughtful, story-driven dishes.
Long before modern kitchens, the arrival of spring was marked by the first harvest of tender plants, blossoms, and vibrant green chiles. This dinner honors that moment of renewal, highlighting the agricultural traditions and ancestral techniques that continue to influence Mexican cuisine today.
Each course will be paired with curated beverages designed to complement the flavors of the season and deepen the experience of the evening.
This dinner is more than a meal. It is an invitation to explore the cultural roots of spring through food, tradition, and storytelling.
