Come enjoy a plant-based buffet of modern Latin and Southern Mexican food at La Pizca in Arroyo Grande. The Sept. 17 event is open to all ages. Many of the items will be gluten-free, as well as 100 percent free of animal products.

Chef Chencho is offering a feast that will include dairy-free cheese, so that he can feature vegan quesadillas and enchiladas in the buffet. He is also planning to include a plant-based “ground beef”. You can expect to find Mexican favorites such as tacos, tostadas, and sopes. House-made corn tortillas, beans, rice and salad fill out the menu.

La Pizca is located at 1412 E. Grand Ave., Arroyo Grande. The shopping center has plenty of free parking.

The $25 ticket includes dinner.  Beer, wine, or other beverages are extra. And don't forget to tip your servers!
