Join Chef Geno Bahena for an interactive, hands-on cooking class celebrating the traditions, techniques, and flavors of Mexican cocina.
Guests will learn the art of handmade masa, shaping and cooking fresh sopes from scratch while exploring the foundations of traditional tortilla making. Guided step-by-step by Chef Geno, participants will gain insight into proper masa preparation, shaping techniques, and the cultural significance behind these staple foods.
The class continues with a chef-led salsa demonstration, where guests will prepare both a traditional red salsa and a vibrant green salsa. Chef Geno will guide participants through balancing chiles, acidity, roasting techniques, and layering flavors to build depth, heat, and brightness in each salsa.
Following the class, guests will enjoy the sopes they've prepared, accompanied by their freshly made red and green salsas and traditional garnishes. Guests are also invited to stay and enjoy selections from our full dinner menu following the experience.
