Chef Audrey walks you through the full process, step by step. You're not watching a demonstration — you're building your own cake from the moment you walk in to the moment you carry it home.

What you'll do:

Make ube halaya from scratch — the real Filipino ube jam that gives this cake its depth of flavor and color. Toast pinipig, the crispy puffed rice flakes that add that signature crunch between the layers. Stack, frost, and finish your own 6-inch three-layer cake in a style that's modern, tall, and completely yours.

What you take home:

Chef Audrey Santos is the Sous Chef at Maricel’s Kitchen, where she leads the culinary team in crafting memorable, high-quality dining experiences. Working closely with Chef Maricel, Audrey plays a key role in kitchen operations, menu execution, and guest engagement—bringing heart, precision, and cultural pride to every dish.

Outside of Maricel’s Kitchen, Audrey is the founder of Taste and See by Audrey and Sylvañas & Co., two ventures that showcase her deep love for Filipino cuisine and creative presentation. Since 2009, she has built a reputation for blending authenticity with artistry, offering custom cakes, specialty desserts, and curated tablescapes that highlight Filipino flavors. Her work spans intimate pop-ups, community events, and collaborative culinary projects—each designed to bring people together through food and storytelling.

Chef Audrey’s mission is simple: to preserve heritage and spark joy through every bite.
