In 2026, The Lock Tender is setting out on a yearlong tour of great beer, cider—and occasionally wine—from some of our favorite regions in New York State and beyond. Our monthly Beers Of series is an excuse to slow down, taste thoughtfully, talk shop, and enjoy a proper Saturday afternoon.

We proudly host this series in partnership with the Tap & Craft Festival.

Tickets are available at www.thelocktender.com/events or at the bar. These events tend to fill up, so we recommend purchasing online. There are no separate sessions this year—arrive anytime between 1–5 PM.

Each Beers Of event features 16–20 distinct styles from a minimum of eight producers. Occasionally, we get the beer-buying zoomies. When that happens, there’s more.

The Hudson Valley has always been a place where craft meets patience. Cold rivers. Old farms. A long tradition of making things by hand. That rhythm carries through its beer—thoughtful, grounded, and quietly confident.
