In 2026, The Lock Tender continues its yearlong tour of great beer, cider—and occasionally wine—from regions that have helped define how we drink today. Beers Of is our monthly reason to slow down, taste thoughtfully, and spend a proper Saturday afternoon in good company.

This stop heads to New England, a region whose influence on modern craft beer is hard to overstate. New England didn’t just produce great breweries—it reshaped American beer culture. From its pioneering role in the New England IPA to its deep sense of place, the region blends pastoral roots, local ingredients, and technical precision with a willingness to experiment. The result is beer that feels communal, expressive, and alive—often hazy, often juicy, always intentional.

Each Beers Of event features 16–20 distinct styles from a minimum of eight producers. Occasionally, we get the beer-buying zoomies. When that happens, there’s more.

There are no separate sessions—arrive anytime between 1–5 PM and enjoy the afternoon at your own pace.
