Our journey begins in the colonial era, where the rustic sweetness of hard cider heartened early Americans, and New England rum wove a troubling legacy that reverberates today.

We then move into the "Age of the Founders," featuring the fortified wines that toasted the birth of our independence and the robust rye whiskeys that tested the limits of a young government’s law. As we follow the path of westward expansion, the flight explores the transition to native corn-based spirits and the oft-overlooked history of indigenous American grape varietals, showcasing a period of immense growth and the unique marriage of European tradition with the American landscape.
