We are very excited to announce our next wine dinner series, including an evening at our Pacific Beach location, Drift Cafe! For our first July Wine Dinner Series we're thrilled to share a fantastic line up of wines from classic, Walla Walla winery, L'Ecole. We have a fantastic line-up of award-winning wines planned, each which will be presented by National Sales Manager, Annie Wallace-Cox. L’Ecole № 41 is a third-generation, family-owned winery located in the historic Frenchtown School depicted on their label. Founded in 1983 by Jean and Baker Ferguson as a retirement project, we were the third winery established in the Walla Walla Valley. From their earliest days, they have held fast to the belief that Washington wines could rival the best of the Old World. Today, L'Ecole is one of the most prominent Washington wineries in both national and key global markets. You can expect a very fun evening of wine and food conversation from both Annie and Chef Erin. Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
