Journey of a Winemaker is an exclusive, after-hours cocktail-style wine event featuring award-winning winemaker Dan Brink of Pomeroy Cellars. Hosted in the privacy of the tasting room, this one-night-only gathering begins at 6:00 PM and is limited to only 20 guests, creating an atmosphere that is personal, immersive, and richly conversational.

Throughout the evening, Dan will share the defining moments of his journey: his earliest influences, the mentors who shaped his pursuit of excellence, and the uncompromising standards that define Pomeroy Cellars today. The evening unfolds as a dialogue, with guests invited to engage, inquire, and explore the wines on a deeply personal level.

You will taste eight to ten rare wines drawn from older vintages and experimental cellar selections—all no longer available publicly and offered only for pouring at this event. Wines will be served in small, intentional pours (½ oz to 1 oz) to allow thoughtful exploration while preserving the integrity of these delicate, mature bottles. Select wines may be presented using Coravin or controlled pours to ensure optimal freshness and expression.

The tasting will be paired with elevated, heavy appetizers crafted to enjoy, along with the wines and support a relaxed, cocktail-style flow. With no crowds, no rush, and no script beyond the story itself, this evening is about connection—between winemaker and you, wine and memory.
