SSAW welcomes guest chef Yoo Jung Suh for a special three-night pop-up this January.
Born and raised in South Korea, Chef Suh was introduced to Japanese cuisine early through her family background. She later trained at the Culinary Institute of America, where her interest in Japanese cooking deepened through formal study influenced by the Tsuji Culinary Institute.
Drawing from her Korean roots and Japanese training, Chef Suh’s cuisine reflects a thoughtful collaboration between the two culinary traditions. This limited pop-up features a seasonal tasting menu highlighting winter ingredients, balance, and technique. A vegetarian option is available. Seats are limited.
