Now that family matters are settling down (as if!), we’ve tempted former CBC team member Jacquelyn Moriarity to come back to the shop for a Saturday so you can have a pleasure we’ve already enjoyed: tasting her wines! Because they are some of the best you’ll find from Virginia, balanced, pure, textured and just plain delicious. And priced nicely, too.

Jacquelyn brings to the table her wine passion and experience as a winemaker in Portugal (Douro), Spain (Priorat), Australia (McLaren Vale) and New Zealand (Marlborough). And also right here in Virginia where she's worked with Lost Creek Winery, Bluemont Winery, and is currently making terrific Merlot/Cab Franc blends under her own Holmes Wine label. 

She’ll be sharing her delicious 2020 Holmes Wine Mimi Cabernet Franc and the 2021 Merlot/Cab Franc Blend No. 1 along with two equally impressive new releases. The ONLY bad thing about Jacquelyn being on our team in the shop is that we weren’t allowed to sell her wines (VABC rules). And the only good thing about her leaving is that now we can.
