Every Tuesday, ZAFFERANO & CO. mixologist Sarah Esposito, from Italy’s Amalfi Coast, takes you behind the bar of Via Toscana, an Italian restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, for two hours of Italian mixology.

You learn the Italian way to drink: the elegance, the ritual of the aperitivo, the way Italians serve and enjoy a drink. You learn what La Dolce Vita really means.

You make five Italian classics yourself, at your own station

• Martini: the classic, and what changes from one Martini to another.
• Negroni: the original, and the differences between the Negronis.
• Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz and Limoncello Spritz: the Italian aperitivo, done right.
