Escape the cold weather, settle in with a warm cup of tea (or coffee) and bake up your very own Afternoon Tea Party in this memorable class! Once you've mastered these classics, invite your friends over for an afternoon at your place where you can be the pastry chef!

In this fun-filled interactive class, you will learn the basics of creating an impressive spread of baked goods! Our experienced Pastry Chef Instructor will guide you step-by-step through the technical processes of balancing ingredients, dough making, proofing and baking. You will be creating some renowned Afternoon Tea classics including Original Fresh Muffins and Crumble Muffins . Once you have created your restaurant worthy Afternoon Tea spread, share in the fruits of your labor with your newfound foodie friends!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Jaime's apartment. Jaime shares her home with 2 dogs. Though they will be in another room to themselves throughout the class, this class is not suitable to those allergic or afraid of dogs. Coffee and an assortment of teas will be provided for your enjoyment.

The nature of our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Groups of 2 may be asked to share their station with another couple. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in so that class can begin on time. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+.
