For ages 16 & up

It’s true, Texas is famous for its pitmasters and barbecue icons—who’s to say you can’t join the ranks of our state’s grilling greats? We’re here to take away the intimidation factor and help you ’cue up to become a fan of the flames. With proper homage to the origins of Southern barbecue, you’ll learn how to host the hottest cookout in the neighborhood!

Pick up tips and techniques to pull off a memorable evening of your own from start to sweet finish, from ways to take your sides to the next level to ribs that will have your guests licking their fingers and asking for more. Texas weather being what it is, we’ll show you how outdoor grilling techniques translate to the indoors so you can make the most of grilling season, rain or shine, triple-digit temperatures notwithstanding.

You will be working in a small group. For ages 16 and up. 21 or older? You’ll enjoy a glass of wine or beer paired with your meal.

Safety & Precautions

• At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.

• For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
