Join us for an exceptional evening celebrating the artistry and elegance of Hamel Family Wines, as The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant hosts an intimate wine dinner on Wednesday, April 8 at 6 PM.
Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated five-course menu prepared by Executive Chef Scott Garthwaite, with four exceptional Hamel Family Wine pairings selected to complement and elevate each dish. Known for their commitment to crafting small-lot, terroir-driven wines from some of Sonoma and Napa Valley's most coveted vineyards, Hamel Family Wines promises an evening of extraordinary pours from start to finish.
We are thrilled to welcome Wisconsin-born winemaker John Hamel as our special guest for the evening. John leads winegrowing at Hamel Family Wines and brings a deeply rooted philosophy to every vintage — one shaped by a passion for organic farming and a profound connection to the principles of the Slow Food movement. John and his team apply a micro-terroir-based winegrowing approach, adapting vineyard and winemaking practices specifically to the volcanic soils across Hamel's vineyards. Under his leadership, the majority of the vineyards have transitioned to dry farming, with organic and Biodynamic management practices guiding their work in the field.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience the elegance and craftsmanship of Hamel Family Wines in an intimate setting, paired alongside the outstanding cuisine that The Commodore - A Bartolotta Restaurant is known for.
