Almost too many great tastes in this Friday’s free tasting from 3-7pm – we probably should have spread them out across several tastings, but what the heck. Let’s just have a flavor explosion and make you sort out which to take home (although taking home all is always an option!).

So come by Friday from 3-7pm to try four great wines and a small-batch, single-serving, can of tonic spritz so wild it could only be called “Bizzaro.” Here’s what you’ll taste:

Cantina del Rimedio Vermentino Sardenia Benas 2024 - Vermentino di Sardenia belongs in the sipping rotation of anyone who loves Sauvignon Blanc/Sancerre, Albarino, Grüner Veltliner, Soave, Rueda Verdejo – pretty much any light, citrusy, fresh white full of fruit and personality. This one's especially good.

Horsetail Chardonnay Willamette Valley 2024 - From the Etzel brothers - sons of Beaux Freres' founder Mike - comes this wildly delicious Oregon Chardonnay with generous fruit to match the crisp energy and dusty minerals on the finish.

Vajra Dolcetto d'Alba 2024 - As Vinous says, this is a "super-classic" take on Piemonte's everyday red. Bunches of blue/purple fruit, accents of licorice, lavender and game and a light, easy, feel will have this on your table all spring long.

Paolo Scavino Barolo 2022 - Delicious Barolo right now. Loads of rich, ripe, fruit with an open, generous, feel and some tar and roses aromas coming out already.

Bizzarro & Mischief Brew Tonic Spritz - And now for something completely different - spritz in a tiny, single-serve, can! Australia's Delinquent Wine Co. blends their amaro-style bitter with small batch tonic from Mischief Brewing. Complex, delicious and ready to sip with spring!

With the wines a delicious rarity: Parish Hill Creamery Humble, made only in the fall and now just about done for the year. It's a raw cow's milk Tomme with a cider-washed rind that is creamy, mellow young and a bit funkier with more age - like now. A bit of funky cheese to go with a fun and funky wine line-up. Great match!
