You are cordially invited to join us on Thursday, October 29th at 6:00pm for an unforgettable culinary experience: a Five-Course Wine Dinner featuring the wines of Château de la Font du Loup in Châteauneuf du Pape, presented by Proprietor and Vigneronne Anne-Charlotte Mélia-Bachas!

Font du Loup translates as the fountain of the wolves, a name drawn from the spring on the property were, according to local legend, the wolves of Mont Ventoux would come down to drink. Chef says they are very smart wolves to choose a highly esteemed Châteauneuf du Pape, and, of course Chateau Font du Loup!

The estate sits in the eastern reaches of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, near Courthézon, and has been in the Mélia family since 1942, when Anne-Charlotte Mélia-Bachas’s grandfather acquired it. Today Anne-Charlotte and her husband Laurent run the Domaine as the third generation, farming sixteen hectares organically. What sets Font du Loup apart is where its vines grow. The parcels sit at the highest elevations in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, on north-facing slopes with a high percentage of sand in the soils. Both factors slow ripening, and the estate typically harvests around two weeks after its neighbors.

Chef Jacques and his team have created for this evening, an elegant five-course French dinner celebrating the end of autumn to complement the visit of our wonderful and esteemed guest vigneronne Anne-Charlotte, from France.

Viva La France, and Bon Appetit! See you at “The Chez” for fun, merriment and award-winning Châteauneuf du Pape!
