In homage to Hispanic Heritage Month, the culinary team at the Inn at Hastings Park presents an evening of exceptional food, wine, and purpose with a 5-course Spanish-inspired menu paired with the distinguished portfolio of wines from Bodega Numanthia located in the Toro region of Castile and León in northwestern Spain. The dinner honors the rich Spanish culinary traditions and enduring influence of Hispanic culture through authentic flavors, storytelling, and hospitality.
Founded in 1998 in Valdefinjas, Bodega Numanthia takes its name from Numancia, an ancient Celtic community that heroically resisted the Roman army for 20 years. That same resilience defines the Toro wine region, where vineyards planted centuries ago by pioneer families produced the first wines to cross the Atlantic, carried on Christopher Columbus's ships in 1492.
As the only Relais & Châteaux property in the Boston area, the Inn at Hastings Park embraces the association's commitment to sustainability and seasonality. Food will be sourced locally from Lexington Community Farm, a nonprofit dedicated to regenerative agriculture and community food access on seven-plus acres of protected historic land.
