Alexis Vaernewck, Sales Director for Esterlin Champagne, will guide us through a tasting of the house’s current releases.
Established in 1948, Esterlin represents 400 growers across the Vallée de la Marne and Côteaux du Sézannais, producing high quality Champagnes with a focus on freshness, complexity and aging potential.
Most of Esterlin’s wines are vinified without malolactic fermentation to preserve their freshness and intensity. The Champagnes also benefit from extended aging, ranging from five years for Brut Éclat, six years for Blanc de Blancs Éclat and up to ten years for the Identity Cuvées and vintage releases. This additional time develops greater aromatic and flavor complexity while maintaining the balance of fruit, freshness and roundness that defines the house style.
Esterlin also incorporates oak barrel fermentation into select cuvées, including Cléo Blanc de Blancs, adding another layer of depth and complexity.
*Must be 21+ to participate. Tastings are free and open to the public while supplies last.
