Educational Tasting- 16 Rhône Based Wines From Paso Robles

The goal of the tasting is to learn understand the many styles of Paso's Rhône based wines. We will discuss the varietals, specific places of origin, winemaking methods and vintage. The tasting will broken into 4 flights of for wines.

Flight 1 Singles Varietal Wines

Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, Viognier

Flight 2 Blends

GSM, MSG, SGM, White Rhone Blend

Flight 3 Rhone/Bordeaux Blends

4 Rhone based wines blended with Bordeaux varieties

Flight 4 Wines with Age

4 Wines with at least 10 years of age
