Join Grand Cru Vault for an intimate evening spotlighting the singular elegance of Saint-Julien through four expressions from the Ducru-Beaucaillou family. Guided by Vanessa Conlin, Master of Wine, we’ll explore vintage, terroir, and winemaking through a flight that moves from distinguished maturity to youthful precision—paired to a bespoke Forbes Mill menu.
Featured wines include:
- 2000 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou (Saint-Julien, 2nd Growth): A benchmark vintage showing layered cassis, cedar, graphite, and satin-tannins—poised, complete, and deeply resonant.
- 2015 La Croix Ducru-Beaucaillou: Seductive ripeness with black cherry, cocoa, and violet; structured yet plush, finishing with fine mineral drive.
- 2018 Le Petit Ducru-Beaucaillou: Energetic and polished—ripe berries, licorice, and spice framed by sleek tannins; vibrant and finely tuned.
- 2019 Madame de Beaucaillou: Charming and aromatic; red-dark fruit, florals, and gentle oak accents—fresh, silky, and irresistible.
