Join us for a special evening as we welcome Maxence Badré for an intimate wine seminar featuring the wines of Delas Frères.
Born in Champagne and deeply rooted in his native terroir, Maxence represents the third generation of his family to work with the esteemed Maisons Deutz and Delas Frères. His family’s connection to these historic houses dates back to the late 19th century, when his great-great-grandfather and great-grandfather first began the tradition. This remarkable heritage has shaped Maxence’s perspective from an early age—where wine is not only a profession, but a deeply personal passion and legacy.
The story of Delas Frères itself is equally compelling. Founded in 1835 when Philippe Delas and Charles Audibert acquired Maison Junique, the company was originally known as Audibert & Delas. In 1924, the next generation—Henri and Florentin Delas—took the reins and established the Delas Frères name that endures today. By 1960, the house had risen to prominence as one of the Rhône Valley’s leading producers, with holdings across prestigious appellations including Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, Cornas, Condrieu, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The estate entered a new chapter in 1977 through its merger with Champagne house Deutz, and later, in 1993, became part of the Louis Roederer family—further strengthening its reputation for quality and tradition. Today, Delas Frères continues to craft exceptional wines across the Northern Rhône, including expressions from Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Saint-Péray, and beyond.
During this seminar, Maxence will guide us through a curated selection of Delas Frères wines, offering insight into the Rhône Valley, the house’s winemaking philosophy, and the stories behind each bottle.
