Join us on Monday, November 2nd for a special five-part tasting from Chef Juan and team, featuring house-made sweets thoughtfully paired with First State Brewing beers and a specialty cocktail. From Concha Sweet Bread and Café con Leche Flan to Sweet Tamales and a house-made Churro, each pairing brings something different to the table.

Throughout the evening, you’ll be guided through each course and pairing, sharing the inspiration behind what’s on your plate, what’s in your glass, and why the two work together.

The experience begins at 6:30 PM.

Tickets are $35 per person and sold by tables.

Course 1: Amuse Bouche: Banuelos
Golden-crispy pastry coated in cinnamon sugar, drizzled with piloncillo syrup

Course 2: Concha Sweet Bread
Beer Pairing: Luminous Nights (Spiced Winter Ale)
Light and fluffy Mexican pan dulce, with sweet and crumbly topping

Course 3: Cafe Con Leche Flan
Beer Pairing: Black Lotus (Coffee Stout)
Rich coffee-infused custard, topped with a house-made caramel sauce

Course 4: Sweet Tamales
Beer Pairing: Buried Dilemma (Blueberry & Vanilla Pastry Stout)
Sweetened masa dough with raisins and cinnamon, wrapped in a steamed corn husk, topped with strawberry chutney

Course 5: Churro
Cocktail Pairing: Chocolate Martini
Golden-fried, house-made Spanish dough, showered in cinnamon sugar, with Mexican hot chocolate-style ganache
