Cumin made its Lakeview East debut this past December at 1039 W Belmont, bringing the rich, bold flavors of Indian and Nepalese cuisine to the neighborhood! Their original Wicker Park location has been a beloved staple since 2010, and now, locals and visitors alike can enjoy their culinary excellence closer to home. Cumin’s thoughtfully curated menu features an enticing array of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages—each crafted to elevate your dining experience. Using a wide range of traditional cooking techniques and fresh, aromatic spices, the chefs capture the essence of Indian and Nepalese flavors. Many dishes are prepared in a traditional clay oven (tandoor), infusing meats with a smoky richness and unmistakable depth of flavor.

On Wednesday, May 21st, Cumin is hosting the latest Lakeview East Supper Club! This special family-style dinner will feature three generous courses, each with multiple dishes so guests can sample a variety of their most popular offerings. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes will be served, and Cumin is happy to accommodate vegan and dairy-free dietary preferences.
