Cows, Cacao, & Clay: An Interactive Farm & Craft Experience

Join Nuance Chocolate, Rocky Ridge Farms, and Flingin' Pots for an exclusive, first-of-its-kind morning at the farm. This immersive, multi-sensory experience brings together artisan chocolate craftsmanship, heritage agriculture, and hands-on ceramic arts.

You’ll get to take in the beautiful Northern Colorado sights, taste incredible chocolates, feel the clay as you shape it, and—of course—smell the farm!

What to Expect & Event Timeline

To keep group sizes small and the experience intimate, we will run two separate group sessions. Please ensure you purchase the ticket corresponding to your preferred arrival time.

  • Session 1: Arrives at 9:00 AM (Pottery workshop starts at 10:00 AM)
  • Session 2: Arrives at 10:00 AM (Pottery workshop starts at 11:00 AM)

Your Rotation Flow (approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes total):

  • Kickoff with Cacao (15 Mins): Spend your first 15 minutes learning about bean-to-bar craftsmanship and enjoying your guided tasting flight with Nuance Chocolate.
  • Pasture Time (30–45 Mins): Move over to the pastures to pet, brush, and love up on the miniature highlands.
  • Clay Workshop (~60 Mins): Finish up your session by crafting your very own mini clay cow with Flingin' Pots. This is a special, scaled-down version of their classic workshop, a mini of a mini! Cows will be high-fired and ready for pickup one month later from Flingin Pots' home studio.

What Your Ticket Includes ($60 + fees)
  • Guided Chocolate Flight: A curated tasting of 5 different milk and white chocolates led by the Nuance team, including an exclusive, first-look taste of a secret new chocolate before it ever hits our table!
  • Up-Close Mini Highland Interaction: Time to brush, feed, and snap photos with the miniature cows.
  • Hands-On Clay Sculpting: Full access to clay, materials, and coaching from Flingin' Pots to make your mini figure. Cows will be high-fired and ready for pickup one month later from Flingin Pots' home studio.
  • Exclusive Expert Access: One-on-one conversation with the ranchers, chocolate makers, and potters behind the collaboration.

️ IMPORTANT NOTE – PLEASE READ ️

There are NO public restrooms available on the farm property. Please plan accordingly before arriving. We will have dedicated hand-washing stations and plenty of hand sanitizer available for you to use throughout the experience.

This is a morning event on a working outdoor ranch. Colorado summers can get warm quickly, so please bring water, wear sunscreen, and dress for the heat.

Because we will be stepping into active pastures to interact with the cattle, sturdy, closed-toe shoes (like boots or sneakers) are required for your safety. Please wear clothing you don't mind getting a little dusty or muddy.
