Cooking With Cakebread 2026: Live Fire Grilling - Friday 2

Cost: $280

We’ll elevate the classic barbecue with some inspired and delicious food cooked over fire. Join us at our outdoor barbecue area where we’ll prepare a feast using the grill and wood-burning oven then enjoy an al fresco lunch.

MENU:

To start

- Wood-fired Oysters with Yuzu-Miso Butter

- Grilled Lemongrass Swordfish Brochettes

- Mexican Street Corn Flatbread

At the table

- Grilled Little Gem Lettuce with Chermoula-Grilled Shrimp

- Moroccan Spiced Lamb Chops with Roasted Carrots and Pistachio-Mint Pesto

- Polenta Cake with Wood Oven Roasted Peaches, Spiced Mascarpone & Pecans

Unless otherwise noted, all classes are participation style and held at the Winery House Kitchen. Included with the class are a tour of the winery and culinary gardens (weather permitting), an appetizer reception and a three-course lunch paired with Cakebread Cellars wines. Participants leave with a Cakebread Cellars apron, a booklet of recipes and wine notes from the day, some great memories and quite often, new friends!
