The 2012 Harvest as presented by California's peerless Pinot Noir Pioneers: Williams-Selyem. This walkaround tasting promises to be a showcase event with over $1,200.00 in wine, a comprehensive and unparalleled deep dive presentation of elite Pinot Noir vineyards throughout California. 

Williams Selyem achieved its status as the premier producer of California Pinot Noir through a combination of pioneering history, fiercely independent winemaking techniques, and legendary grower relationships. Founders Burt Williams and Ed Selyem essentially created the blueprint for modern California "cult" Pinot Noir in the 1980s, proving that the grape could achieve world-class status in Sonoma County.

Instead of buying land initially, Williams Selyem secured legendary fruit through loyal handshake agreements with the region's elite growers. This granted them exclusive access to premier sites like Rochioli, Allen, Hirsch, and Summa vineyards. This diverse access allows them to bottle up to 19 different single-vineyard Pinot Noirs annually, each showcasing starkly distinct microclimates and specific terroir.
