Step into the elegance of 19th-century New Orleans at Bayona for a one-night-only commemorative dinner honoring Baroness Micaela Almonester Pontalba, one of the city’s most influential historical figures and the visionary behind the iconic Pontalba Buildings surrounding Jackson Square.
This immersive evening will feature a thoughtfully curated multi-course menu inspired by the refined Creole and French cuisine enjoyed during the Baroness’s era, highlighting the rich culinary traditions that shaped early New Orleans dining culture. Executive Chef Christy Engeran brings Bayona’s signature seasonal approach and modern culinary artistry to historic flavors and classic techniques.
Optional wine pairings will be available to complement each course and enhance the experience. Set within Bayona’s historic French Quarter cottage, this special event celebrates the history, cuisine, architecture, and culture that continue to define New Orleans today.
