Long Islanders can take a trip around the world this November without leaving Mineola.

On Monday, November 9, The Jericho Terrace will host Cocktails Around the World, an evening bringing together local bartenders, internationally known spirits, and food for a passport-inspired tasting experience.

Open to the public and hospitality trade, the event will feature tasting-sized cocktails representing 11 countries, from Teeling Irish Whiskey in Ireland and Patrón and Ilegal in Mexico to Bacardí in Puerto Rico and Leblon in Brazil. Guests will explore the featured spirits and their origins, meet the people behind the cocktails, and discover how local bartenders bring their own creativity to global flavors. A “best cocktail” competition will add a little friendly rivalry to the evening.

The event offers a fun local food-and-drink story, with opportunities for colorful photography, bartender interviews, and a behind-the-scenes look at the collaboration between Long Island’s hospitality community and the featured brands.
