The Rhône is coming to Charleston.

Join us at Tippling House for a very special happy hour with Julien Cécillon and Nancy Kerschen of Famille Cécillon + L’Etrangère, the husband-and-wife winemaking duo behind one of the Northern Rhône’s exciting young domaines. Based in the heart of the region, Julien and Nancy make beautifully expressive wines from Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, and Saint-Péray, wines that are all about place, personality, and serious vineyard work.

And this one comes with a pretty great Charleston connection. Tippling House owner Matthew Conway recently got his hands dirty alongside Julien and Nancy, spending time with them in France during this year’s harvest. So you could say this is part wine tasting, part harvest reunion, with a lot less back pain and a few more snacks.

Now Julien and Nancy are leaving the Rhône behind for a few days and heading to Charleston to hang with us. Come meet the winemakers, taste their wines, hear a few harvest stories, and drink your way from Charleston to the Rhône.

Just bring yourself. We’ll handle the wine.
