Some restaurants exist only as an idea. Some exist for a single afternoon.

Berkley’s welcomes guest chef Michael Dean of Dean Lane in the Finger Lakes for a special Signature Dinner with Berkley’s owner Marc Hudasko – two best friends who once dreamed of opening a restaurant together. Then Michael moved north. Marc moved south. The restaurant never happened. Until now.

For one afternoon, the two friends come together in Charleston to offer a glimpse of what that restaurant might have been: a menu built from years of friendship, shared ideas, and a mutual love of food and wine. Wines will be poured by Bobby + Jaam of Joseph-Jibril Wines, adding another layer to an afternoon designed around good friends, great bottles, and the restaurant that could have been.
