In January, we will be celebrating the dairy animals that provide us with their milk for our favorite food - CHEESE! Cow's are the most-producing dairy animal for cheesemaking. They are cute, gentle, affectionate and make not only milk for cheese, but most butter as well! We will be tasting a wide variety of cow's milk cheeses from the classics to some new & different flavors. While tasting, you'll learn about why cows are the most producing dairy animals, the different breeds of cows used for cheesemaking and what makes them unique, a history of dairying around the world and we'll delve into a few other fun details.
For your comfort, this class is being offered in person and virtually. If you wish to participate online you may select after purchasing your tickets. Each ticket includes a tasting of at least five different cheeses and expert instruction. Wine, beer, non-alcoholic and charcuterie pairings are also available at checkout.
To ensure a great experience, all group reservations must be made under a single name or may not be seated together. Our table size is limited to 5 people. If you have more than five individuals, feel free to make separate reservations, but due to space you will not be seated at the same table., though with 48 hour advance notice, we can usually sit parties near each other. If you have a group of 10 or more, we also offer private classes. Email info@beautifulrind.com for more information.
