Tacos & Tequila Tasting With Código

Back by popular demand, we're hosting another Tacos & Tequila Tasting. Join us at One Door West on Tuesday, May 19 from 5:30 - 7:30pm as we learn about and sample a variety of tequilas from Código. We'll be guided by Kendra Hanke, who has been working with the Código brand for the last ten years as she shares her knowledge and expertise with us as we sample:

• Blanco: An earthy, mineral character that balances the citrusy sweetness
• Rosa: Bright agave character and finishes with soft red wine notes
• Reposado: Bright, sweet agave notes with vanilla, caramel, and cocoa
• Añejo: Refined, elegant & expressive with fruit, oak, vanilla, & spices
• Extra Añejo: Aged 6 yrs - one of the oldest and most refined Extra Añejos

To accompany the five tequilas you'll be tasting, the Gianni's kitchen will also create a Latin-inspired tasting experience to perfectly pair with the tequila. Hurry, because space is limited so get your tickets for this fun and interactive culinary event!

About Kendra Hawke:

Kendra Hanke was born and raised in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She began working with Código 1530 at its launch in 2016 and has been closely connected to the brand ever since.

Following Pernod Ricard’s acquisition of Código in 2022, Kendra transitioned into her current role as On-Premise Market Manager, overseeing the full portfolio across the region.

While her responsibilities have grown, her passion for Código remains at the core of her work.
