The night is warm. The music is low. Something is about to happen.
On Juneteenth — June 19th — Cannah Buttah Babe invites you to step through the doors of something sacred. Inspired by the world of Sinners, we are resurrecting the jook joint: that holy ground where our people gathered to eat, to dance, to feel fully alive. We're bringing it back — under the open sky — and you are invited.
This is a dinner experience born from the blood and beauty of the Mississippi and Alabama Delta. Every dish on this menu carries a story — rooted in the deep Southern heritage that raised us, shaped us, and sustains us. Chef and founder Vee has woven her own roots into every course, crafting a menu that honors the ancestors while celebrating the freedom Juneteenth represents.
This is not a restaurant. This is not a party. This is a moment — intimate, intentional, and unforgettable. No more than 40 guests will share this table. Every seat was chosen. Every bite was planned. Every detail was placed with purpose.
The experience includes:
The jook joint called to sinners. It welcomed them. It fed them. Tonight, it calls to you.
This is a 21+ event. Valid ID required at the door. Seats are extremely limited and non-refundable.
Come as you are. Leave changed.
