Camp Vini-Vini-Nifera Presents:
Camp Vini Goes to the Loire: A 600-Mile Wine Adventure ️
Howdy, campers! Grab your passport (real or not—we’re not checking) and meet us at the gate, because Camp Vini is catching the next flight out of town. Next stop: the Loire Valley—a 600-mile stretch of wine, castles, and absolute main-character energy in a glass.
For this gathering, we’re tracing the Loire River across France, exploring wines that shift and shape themselves with the land. From briny, oyster-loving Muscadet… to flinty, electric Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé… to the endlessly versatile Chenin Blanc of Vouvray and Anjou… and the fresh, herb-laced Cabernet Franc of Chinon and Saumur.
This class is about movement — about tasting a region that refuses to sit still. These are wines shaped by limestone, schist, wind, and water; wines that can be zippy or textured, playful or profound, but always rooted in place.
We’ll wander through styles and stories, talk soils and tradition, and explore how the Loire has quietly influenced the global wine conversation—while still feeling fresh, alive, and just a little unpredictable.
Think of it as a journey downriver:
Classic wines. Living history. Plenty to discover.
