Join the inaugural Calistoga Wine Festival - a unique wine experience celebrating the northern Napa Valley's excellence, the unique picturesque town of Calistoga, and the Calistoga wines. This event blends a retrospective on the 50th Anniversary of the Judgment of Paris (featured in the landmark movie "Bottle Shock") with the Grand Tasting of Calistoga's top AVA wines.

Featured Guests: Christopher Sawyer (Professional Wine Judge/Sommelier), Len Tolstunov (Event Creator and Founder, Calistoga Wine Society), Dario Sattui (founder of V. Sattui and Castello di Amorosa wneries), Hugh Davies (owner of Schramsberg and Davies wineries), Ivo Jeramaz (head winemaker, Grgich Hills estate winery, the nephew of Miljenko Grgich), representatives of major wineries and professional sommeliers.

1:50 PM – 2:15 PM: The Interview
Intimate Q&A on the 1976 Judgment of Paris and Napa Valley's evolution, led by Christopher Sawyer with local wine celebrities
2:15 PM – 3:00 PM: Award Ceremony and Medal Announcements for the best Calistoga wines
presented by Christopher Sawyer
Professional wine judges who participated in the Judgment of Calistoga Professional Wine Competiiton prior to the Festival and judged Calistoga AVA wines are: Meridith May, Gillian Balance, Joel Aiken, Sarah Doyle, Traci Dutton, Anthony Mueller, and Shari Gherman.
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Calistoga Grand Tasting (CGT)
Sip, savor and support: sample dozens of Best of Class, Double Gold, and Gold medal-winning Calistoga AVA wines, paired with complimentary gourmet food catered by local Calistoga restaurants. This is the charitable event: portion of the proceeds will support local nonprofit, UpValley Family Centers.

Purchase early and save. Advance ticket pricing is available through June 30th. Ticket prices increase on July 1st as the event approaches, so we encourage guests to reserve their tickets early. $85-150
