Local Event
In this intimate cacao tasting experience, we’ll gather in circle to explore ceremonial-grade cacao from different parts of the world, including a variety of Theobroma cacao plants from Peru—each with its own personality, lineage, and felt sense in the body.
Rather than “drinking cacao” as a single experience, we’ll taste cacao as you would wine or chocolate: noticing flavor notes, textures, aromas, and energetic profiles. You’ll be guided to listen to how each cacao/theobroma varietal moves through your body—what it awakens, softens, or brings into awareness.
This gathering is part ritual, part sensory exploration, and part social connection. There will be space to mingle, share reflections, and connect with others in an open, relaxed, and heart-centered way.
Together we will:
* Taste ceremonial cacao sourced from different regions around the world
* Learn about how different countries relate to cacao culturally
* Explore different expressions of the Theobroma cacao plant
* Learn how origin, processing, and preparation influence flavor and effect
* Practice mindful tasting—attuning to flavor notes, mouthfeel, and aftertaste
* Drop into gentle somatic and breath-based practices to embody each experience
* Share reflections and chat with fellow attendees
This is a grounded, joy-forward, heart-opening evening rooted in presence, curiosity, and embodied awareness.
Come to taste. Come to feel. Come to connect—with cacao, with your body, and with one another.
No prior experience necessary—just a willingness to slow down and savor.
