Well people, for the first time in Bothell's history we will be tasting a producer that we seem to only get a little amount a time but now Bovio is with a new importer and I was given special access to some great wines at much lower prices than we have ever seen!

2017 Bovio Langhe Bianco DOC Alessandro - Straw yellow with greenish tinges. Fresh and fruity on the nose, conjuring up exotic fruit. Enjoys good acidity and freshness on the palate.

2015 Bovio Barbera d'Alba DOC Il Ciotto - Deep red with purple highlights. Young, fruity and flowery on the nose, with a crisp, fresh palate.

2016 Bovio Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Dabbene - Intense red, with a fresh young nose showing the fresh fruit notes typical of the varietal. Fresh, young and vinous on the mouth. 

2014 Bovio Barolo DOCG - Ruby red with brick nuances. Fresh nose, showing nuts and leather. Soft on the palate, with traditional, elegant, sweet tannins lingering on the finish. ($35)

2014 Bovio Barolo Gattera DOCG - Ruby with brick-red nuances. Traditional style nose, showing ripe fruit and chocolate. Full-bodied with great structure on the palate, and lingering, elegant tannins. ($47)
