Bordeaux Through More Than A Decade

This evening will explore wines spanning more than a decade, showcasing the remarkable quality and value that can be found throughout Bordeaux. There is a misconception great wine has to be prohibitively expensive (looking at you Napa and Burgundy!). While there are certainly wines that command extraordinary prices, there are also producers and vintages that deliver an incredible quality to price ratio (QPR) and absolutely do not fall short when placed alongside much more expensive bottles.

All of the Bordeaux featured at Anhelo, these wines have been hand selected by our Wine Director through years of traveling throughout Bordeaux, spending time with owners, winemakers and directors, and tasting thousands upon thousands of wines during the annual En Primeur barrel tastings of each vintage. That perspective matters. It is one thing to open a bottle of Bordeaux. It is another to understand the people, vineyards, vintages and wines behind it.
