We’ll feature five exceptional Chardonnays from four different countries, including two French selections from Burgundy and the Jura, alongside wines from the Santa Lucia Highlands of California, Margaret River, Australia and Patagonia, Argentina—each offering a distinct lens on terroir.

Served blind, these wines invite you to taste beyond the label. From coastal precision to alpine nuance and sun-kissed richness, your challenge is to match each wine to its origin. Along the way, we’ll explore how climate, soil, and cellar choices shape Chardonnay’s many expressions.

To make this tasting especially compelling, we’ve selected five Chardonnays that sit above our usual price point—wines of notable pedigree, character, and cellar potential. These are bottles you may not open every day, but ones you’ll be glad to know, taste, and consider for your own collection.

The format is simple enough: we will pour five tasting glasses on a mat and give you a list of possible matches. Our staff will provide as much or as little guidance as you wish.
