Whether you're an aspiring barista, coffee enthusiast, or looking to improve your espresso skills, our Barista Training 101 provides a practical introduction to specialty coffee.

This three-hour, hands-on course focuses on understanding coffee fundamentals, espresso extraction, and milk preparation using professional equipment.

With classes limited to 4 participants, each student receives individualized instruction, dedicated equipment, and hands-on practice throughout the training.

Hour 1 | Introduction to Coffee

• Coffee origins, processing, and specialty coffee fundamentals
• Understanding coffee equipment and basic workflow

Hour 2 | Espresso Fundamentals

• Grinder calibration and dialing in espresso
• Understanding dose, yield, grind size, and extraction time
• Identifying and correcting common extraction issues

Hour 3 | Milk Steaming & Beverage Preparation

• Milk texture, temperature, and steaming techniques
• Introduction to latte art
• Preparing espresso-based beverages

• 3 hours of guided, hands-on instruction
• Individual espresso equipment for practice
• Coffee, milk, and training materials
